Program Board Student Spotlight- Sam Nelson

Sam Nelson just finished her sophomore and has been involved since she stepped foot on campus. She is involved in a few different organizations on campus. She has had multiple leadership roles within the Honors College, she is a member of Best Buddies, and she was a director for Programming Board this past year before becoming President for this upcoming school year. She spends her time volunteering at events and making connections with other students. 

Sam’s involvement is very important to her. Because of the various groups she is involved with, she is able to make connections with a different variety of students. Sam is very personable and outgoing, so her involvement is one of her favorite parts of FGCU. It has created many opportunities for her that she wouldn’t have otherwise. She is always looking for new ways to get involved because it is her favorite way to meet new people.
