WE'RE LOOKIN' FOR A NEWS EDITOR, SEE?!

Got a nose for news? Wanna make your resume stand out to media employers? Well, we've got a tip for you!

Eagle News has an immediate opening for a News Editor. This paid position is for the true news junkie - someone who understands what makes a story and how to get to the bottom of it. This job isn't for the faint of heart or the easily intimidated. News is a serious business and the media industry is looking for students with demonstrated dedication. This post is for the student serious about a career in journalism. Our past News Editors know the rewards: an impressive cadre of clips, great professional connections, regional/national recognition and, best of all, competitive job and internship opportunities that follow.

We're looking for a journalism/communications student proficient in AP Style, Adobe InDesign and journalism ethics. Good news judgment and previous news reporting experience are a MUST (classroom reporting assignments qualify.) The successful candidate must also be able to turn around stories quickly (daily and weekly deadlines.)
