FGCU Club Hockey Helping Community Recover

Over the weekend, members from the FGCU Club Hockey team went out into the community of Bonita Springs to help residents and a local business with the continued cleanup from Hurricane Ian. The 9 members of the club worked 5 hours each helping the local residents and business owners remove tree and landscape debris as well as, other garbage and household debris affecting the environment, that had been blown in and left by Hurricane Ian. Helping these residents clean up from the Hurricane can help them continue their journeys in recovery and get back to a sense of normalcy, without the constant reminder of the devastation that occurred in September of 2022. FGCU Club Hockey and its members are committed to continuing its volunteer efforts to work together with the community to help restore our city and surrounding areas back to their pre-hurricane state.
