Spring 2025 with Forensics Club!

Whether Forensics and Criminal Justice is your career choice or just hobby that really excites you, Forensics Club is here to help you pursue that passion! Here is a brief article about how get involved in the FGCU Forensics Club!

Thank you for stopping by our EagleLink page! We hope to see you at some meetings in the future, so here are some resources to help you get involved and take advantage of all the great resources and opportunities we provide for you. 

  • The FGCU Forensics Club will be meeting every other Tuesday from 6:00pm- 7:00pm in Ben Hill Griffin Hall, room 215. We will provide food and drinks as well! Feel free to bring a friend too, the more the merrier! Below is a list of our future meeting this semester:

If you haven’t joined already, join the Forensics Club here on EagleLink! This helps us keep track of club members and provides a better club experience for you all! Not to mention our EagleLink provides you with helpful information throughout the semester.

Make sure you have requested to join our GroupMe! GroupMe is our main source of communication and helps you to easily get in contact with other club members or the board members. We send brief announcements, pictures, and any updates there (along with through EagleLink). Be sure to put your estimated graduation year when you request to join! We have new officers for the spring 2025 semester! Here is some information to get to know us! 

President: Abria Gigante- 

Abria Gigante is in her senior year studying Forensic studies and Criminal Justice. She hopes to become a Crime Scene Investigator in the future. Some fun facts abot her is that she loves musical theater, loved going to Japan, used to play the flute, and has four pets. 

Vice President: Jordan Martin 

Jordan Martin is in her senior year studying Forensic Science and Anthropology. She hopes to become a DNA Analyst in the future. Some fun facts about her is that she was a hip hop dancer for 10 years, she currently works in FGCU housing, and has a cat named Josie. 

Secretary: Rebecca Gorman

Rebecca Gorman is in her junior year studying Forensic Studies and Psychology. She hopes to become a Friction Ridge Analyst in the future. Some fun facts about her is that her favorite forensic topics are latent prints, blood spatter, and forensic behavioral analysis and she loves to crochet, cook, play video games, and go to the gym. 

Treasurer: Jayden Nieves

Jayden Nieves is in his freshman year studying Biology and Forensic Studies. He hopes to become an Interventional Cardiologist in the future. Some fun facts about him is that his favorite forensic topics are forensic toxicology and forensic anthropology, he loves going to car club and driving, and he loves spending time with his friends. 

Social Media Coordinator: Gabriella Garcia- D'Orazio

Gabriella Garcia- D'Orazio is in her freshman year studying forensic science and forensic studies. She hopes to become a Forensic Pathologist in the future. Some fun facts about her is that she is a second degree black belt in Taekwondo, loves Pokemon, and loves reading and crocheting. 

Outreach Coordinator: Sam Mejia 

Sam Mejia is in his sophomore year studying Forensic Studies, Criminal Justice, and Psychology. He hopes to become a Federal Criminal Investigator in the future. Some fun facts about him is that he has taken 2 years of fencing lessons, like graphic design, and plays minecraft.
