What: Mental Illness Awareness Week ft. Lennox Gastaut Syndrome

When/Where:

Monday, October 6; 12PM-5PM/ Zone 3, the corner outside of Reed Hall
Tuesday, October 7; 12P-5PM/ Zone 1, in between Ben Hill Griffin and Subway

Why: Raising awareness and money for the Lennox Gastaut Foundation. Lennox Gastaut Syndrome is a severe form of epilepsy that presents itself in children under the age of 4, causing impaired intellectual function and information processing. No cure has been found. Delta Alpha Pi National Honor Society, a national honor society for students with disabilities, is putting on the event "Pi Your Professors and Friends." Professors and studens will stand behind our 7-foot plywood wall and stick their heads through the face hole. Students will then toss either shaving cream pies or water balloons at the wall. Come out and GET PIED!!!!
