Etiquette Dinner

Do you know proper etiquette when eating at a formal business or interview dinner?

To help current students learn the etiquette skills they need for career networking and job interviews, which often include lunches and dinners, the Office of Career Development Services will hold the Fall Etiquette Dinner on Thursday, October 22nd at the Holiday Inn Airport at Town Center. 

A networking reception will kick off the evening at 5:00 p.m. with appetizers and punch. Students will  mingle with representatives from our business sponsor Enterprise Holdings prior to dinner.

At 5:30 p.m., the students and business professionals will sit together at dining tables with formal place settings Our presenter is Lamar Cheatham from the Naples Ritz Carlton .  You don't want to worry about what fork you use or which water glass is yours  when you're facing a formal dinner or an interview. Lamar will  walk you through a four-course meal including  how to present oneself during dinner and how to eat each course, including the correct techniques for sipping soup and cutting salad toppings.
