Greener alternative for grad photos
FGCU students have a greener alternative to plastic glitter and confetti to celebrate graduation in their regalia photos.
Thanks to Student Government’s purchase of Ecofetti back in Fall 2020, FGCU students have been using a greener alternative to harmful plastic glitter & confetti to celebrate graduation in their regalia photos.
The Environmental Coalition of FGCU had a service-learning event at their regularly scheduled meeting last night where they assembled 319 Ecofetti packets. Look for ECOFGCU's tabling events coming soon when we will distribute packets to graduating seniors.
Ecofetti is made from cornstarch and non-toxic dye. It breaks down easily in the environment.
