Community Service Learning at Everglades Wonder Gardens
Women's Club Soccer Team helped prepare a new enclosure for crocodiles to move into.
This week the Women's Club Soccer Team participated in a community service project with The Everglades Wonder Gardens. Four club members spent four hours each totaling 16 hours, repainting an old enclosure, for cocadiles to be moved into. For the purpose of providing a forever home for cocadiles that are injured or have other reasons why they are unable to be rereleased from captivity. The learning aspect was included in a tour of the garden and learning about all the animals and how they ended up in the gardens.
