Here are a list of some upcoming events along with the weekly news for Forensics Club!

Hello Forensics Club Members!   

  

We hope you are having a great week! This article will feature some upcoming events including our next club meeting and career opportunities happening on campus. 😊    

  

  • Join us on Tuesday, February 4th at 6:00pm in Ben Hill Griffin 215 for a Career in Forensics Night! Get to learn about all thing's forensics! Not quite sure what you want to do after college? Or maybe you know what you want to do but you’re not quite sure how to get there? That’s okay! We’ve got you covered! Find out about the differences between forensic studies and forensic science, learn about criminal justice and federal jobs along with the qualifications to get the jobs, see how forensics ties into other fields, and most importantly unearth the truths about forensics! Be sure to RSVP on EagleLink! Food and drinks will be provided. We can’t wait to see you all there!  
  • Mark your calendars! Federal employees and special agents will be on campus to teach you more about careers and internship opportunities in their agency. All events will be hosted in AB9, room 106. Below is a list of the employers that will be available:  
  • U.S. State Department- Tuesday, January 21, 1:30pm  
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)- Tuesday, February 4, 1:30pm  
  • U.S. Homeland Security (HSI)- Tuesday, March 11, 1:30pm  
  • Bureau of Alcohol, Tabacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)- Tuesday, March 18, 1:30pm  
  • Internal Revenue Service (IRS)- Tuesday, April 1, 1:30pm  
  • U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)- Tuesday April 15, 1:30pm
