Inaugural FGCU Ice Hockey Club Golf Tournament

On Staurday September 14th, 2024 the FGCU Ice Hockey Club hosted its Inaugural Golf Tournament at Vasari Country Club. The day began with check-in at bag drop outside the Vasari Club House. Groups were asigned holes to start on in shotgun fashion. With all 128 golfers teeing off at the same time groups began the round, playing a 4 person scramble aiming to finish at the clubhouse with the lowest score. The round presented on course games managed by the FGCU ice hockey players which consisted of two closest to the pin challenges on par-3 holes, one longest drive and a straightest drive. After the golf was finished all players enjoyed a banquet, buffet style lunch upstairs in the Vasari Club house. The lunch ended with an awards ceremony hosted by the FGCU Ice Hockey players presenting winners with club jerseys and merchandise!
