Men's Lacrosse Community Service 10/13/2024

Members of the Men's Club Lacrosse team here at FGCU, took time out of their weekend to help the community early Sunday morning. Hurricane Milton although not a direct hit to Ft. Myers still caused damage to homes and businesses along the coast. This opprotunity was given to us through rebuildswfl, an incredible Instagram account that is run by FGCU alumni, we we're able to contact them and set up a time for use to get out to Ft. Myers beach. On the beach the storm surge impacted sadly almost every home. Our members assisted these impacted citizens by moving furnatine and removing pounds of sand that washed up into these homes. We are very grateful for this opprotunity and a big thanks to rebuildswfl.
