On this Day, we will teach the basics of making pasta, specifically fettuccine, in a guided, instructional-based atmosphere. Space and ingredients are limited, so reserve your spot as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the dress code or the recipe, don't hesitate to contact the club's email, cookingclubfgcu@gmail.com, or the Cooking Club president, sasantolopez5832@eagle.fgcu.edu. Disclaimer: Although reservations are open to faculty and students employed or enrolled at FGCU, there will be a strict 30-person maximum capacity in the culinary lab. Gloves, lab coats, and other relevant personal protective equipment will be provided by the club for up to 30 people. You will not be allowed into the lab if you do not follow the proper dress code. Late arrivals also risk having their reservations taken by waitlisted people. Dress code: Knees, shoulders, midriff, and toes should be covered at all times. Additionally, long hair should be tied back. Hair ties and coat hangers will be provided. For any further inquiries, contact the club's email, cookingclubfgcu@gmail.com, or the president, sasantolopez5832@eagle.fgcu.edu. What to bring: You only need to bring yourself and the proper dress code. For this event, a pasta made from scratch using flour and eggs will be made and accompanied by grilled chicken breast, unsalted butter, Parmesan, and Romano cheese. Please note that dairy, eggs, and gluten will be present during the event.
