Sat, Apr 25Help The Healthy Earth Organization at Naples Pier Beach Cleanup on 4/25/26The Healthy Earth Organization is looking for volunteers for the following event: Please join us at our beach cleanup where we provide everything including tools, water, and snacks. All we need is you! Event: Naples Pier Beach Cleanup Date: April 25th, 2026 Time: 9:30 AM - 11 AM Location: Naples Pier, 25 12th Ave S, Naples, FL 34102 We provide Free Parking thanks to Collier County Parks and Rec and Keep Collier Beautiful. What To Bring: Re-useable water bottle and wear comfortable clothes. We suggest a hat and sunglasses. What We Provide: All tools needed, sunblock, water refill jug, light snacks, and designated team members who take pictures and ensure safety. Safety Guidelines: Drink plenty of water and take breaks as needed. Set a timer to come back at set time. Watch out for sharp objects, glass, and wildlife. Avoid heavy lifting and work with a buddy at all times. Do not touch hazardous materials such as needles or chemicals. Report heavy items to our designated team member. Post Cleanup: Weigh your buckets and join the group photo at 10:45 am. Why Help: Beach cleanups are a last line of defense to prevent debris from causing harm to our oceans, to wildlife, to our coastal economies, and even beach-goers. Sat, Apr 25Recurring Opportunity (Saturday mornings) with Gulf Coast Youth Orchestra SupportGulf Coast Symphony is seeking students to assist Gulf Coast Youth Orchestra (GCYO) conductor Diego Hernandez with rehearsal support (musicians are also welcome to play in GCYO and mentor younger students). The GCYO rehearses Saturday mornings (9:30-11:30am) at the Music & Arts Community Center off Daniels Parkway in Fort Myers. GCYO is part of Gulf Coast Symphony's educational programming and its mission to create community through music. Fri, May 1Volunteers Needed as Instuctors at Interfaith Outreach Center!Interfaith Charities of South Lee is an organization whose mission is to feed the hungry and provide hope and help to our neighbors in need. They need students to teach classes at their Outreach Center. At the outreach center, they teach ESOL (English as Second Language) and Page Turners (Reading Class for Kids 3-5) Being bilingual is not required. Available roles are as follows: Team Captains: - Share event updates, help set fundraising goals, and keep everyone motivated and informed leading up to Relay. - On event day, they’re the go-to point person—making sure their team feels welcomed, supported, and ready to celebrate, remember, and fight back together. Event Day Volunteers: - Assist with check-in/registration – Welcome participants, distribute materials, and help guests get oriented. - Hospitality – Support survivors, caregivers, and teams; help with water, snacks, and general comfort. - Luminaria Ceremony Support – Assist with setup, candle lighting, and maintaining a respectful atmosphere. - Activities & Entertainment Support – Help run games, kids’ activities, or assist performers and schedules. - Setup & Breakdown Crew – Help with tents, signage, decorations, and end-of-event cleanup. - Logistics & Floaters – Step in wherever needed to keep the event running smoothly.
