This experience is virtual with some in-person events. Aquila is an interdisciplinary student-centered journal showcasing scholarship from all colleges and disciplines. Published by the University Library, Aquila devotes each issue to undergraduate and graduate scholarship from the humanities, STEM, social sciences, music and theatre, business and entrepreneurship, and health professions. The journal publishes literature reviews, original research, case studies, creative works, and projects affiliated with the Gulf Scholars program. Students can use their published articles as artifacts for either the Written Communication or Critical Thinking Transferrable Skills badges. Sat, Apr 4Volunteers Needed at Large Outdoor Concert Fundraiser for Arts on Tap at Alliance for the ArtsAlliance for the Arts is a nonprofit community arts center whose mission is to transform lives and improve our community through the arts. Our campus offers exhibitions, theatre, concerts, classes, and community events that make the arts accessible to people of all ages. Arts on Tap is one of our largest annual fundraisers, and this year’s event features JJ Grey & Mofro with Honey Hounds as the opener. We anticipate welcoming about 2,000 attendees. FGCU students would assist with a variety of event-day needs, including event setup, guest check-in, concession sales, general event support, and post-event cleanup. It should be a fun and energetic night, and volunteers will play an important role in helping the event run smoothly. We have shifts available starting at 4 hours each. The tournament will help them fund CCAG programs and initiatives that directly benefit individuals and families they serve.
