Psychology Club
The FGCU Psychology Club is a dynamic student-led organization dedicated to providing all FGCU students with education, resources, and opportunities relating to psychology. We work with campus faculty and outside organizations to provide our members with the knowledge they need to further their interests in the field of psychology. The FGCU Psychology Club values advocacy, education, inclusion, growth, networking, programming, resources, and service. At our meetings, we incorporate empirical research, theory, and real-world applications to generate opportunities for academic, career, and interpersonal growth within, and outside, the field of psychology by hosing social activities, guest speakers, and volunteer opportunities. Joining our organization is a great way to network, meet new friends, learn new ideas, and create long lasting memories with students who share similar interests, so don’t be shy! Come say hello or follow us on Instagram. We are PSYCHED to meet you!
What to Expect: Our weekly meetings include guest speakers from the psychology field and research plug-ins, information on graduate school or job/internship opportunities, and decompressing sessions. There will also be opportunities to volunteer and get involved in the community. Follow the psychology Instagram and join the GroupMe to stay updated on all the events!
