A staff member from the Office of Financial Aid will sit with you one-on-one and help you fill out your 2026-2027 FAFSA. Join us for Paranormal Activity Association’s annual Campus-wide Halloween party- The Monster Mash. There will be food, nonalcoholic drinks, games, karaoke, a costume contest and all around spooky vibes. Stop by or stay a while for some good ol’ fashioned Halloween fun.

For more details on this raffle please see below.*   This month's Wellness InSTALLment is brought to you by Milton Ambroise!   *In order to participate for the $10 Eagle Dollars prize, students will need to answer our Question of the Month correctly. Eagle Dollars can be used wherever Eagle Dollars are accepted on FGCU’s campus. The question is located on the Wellness InSTALLment and the answer can be found within the Wellness InSTALLment. The Wellness InSTALLment can be seen via the Online Location Link in this event, on the University Recreation & Wellness website, or our physical InSTALLments in the bathroom. Students will submit their answer by signing into Eagle Link via their FGCU email and password and RSVPing YES to the event. Prevention & Wellness at Florida Gulf Coast University will be using funds from student health fees to award the $10 to the winner’s Eagle account. As a result, faculty and staff are ineligible to participate due to funding limitations. The winner will be chosen on the 1st of the following month between 8am-5pm via wheelofnames.com if they answered the question correctly, unless it falls on a weekend/holiday to which the following business day they will be chosen. All participants will be notified of the winner via their student email in addition to the correct answer. The prize will be awarded via Eagle account after we receive a signature on FGCU’s prize form which will be located in the Prevention & Wellness front desk in Cohen 161. Proof of identification via Eagle ID is needed. No purchase or contribution is necessary.

Become SCUBA certified through RecVentures!  Must attend all classroom sessions, pool sessions, and check out dives in order to obtain certification. RecVentures does not offer make-up dates for missed classes, so any absence is the participant’s responsibility to coordinate make-up time with Dean’s Dive Center. Must be available November 1-2 AND November 8-9 or will need to schedule make up sessions. We are looking for volunteers to help the residents and local organizations in Babcock Ranch keep our city clean. We will walk the sidewalks, medians, parks, and green spaces to collect any discarded items and properly dispose of them. Items will be sorted for recycling. Part of our mission, vision, and values is to care for the environment and educate the community on the importance of sustainability.   This event is on Saturday, November 1st in Babcock Ranch. The event starts with a safety and strategy talk at 8:00am and debris collection to follow. We meet in the parking lot of the Babcock Ranch Field House near the football field in Babcock Ranch. The Environmental Education Alliance of Southwest Florida will be holding its annual conference on Saturday, November 1st from 8:30am-3:30pm in The Water School at Florida Gulf Coast University. Empowerment Farm is in need of volunteers to assist with hosting their Fall Festival! Tasks include set up and break down and running activities during the event such as face painting, admission, parking, animal ambassadors, and helping out in the market.    To sign up for this opportunity click HERE! Bike Safety Event – Helmet Fitters & Survey Helpers Friends of Bonita Estero Rail Trail is hosting a Bike Safety event in collaboration with the Literacy Council Gulf Coast and Bonita Springs Assistance Office.
