The Wellness InSTALLment can be seen via the Online Location Link in this event, on the University Recreation & Wellness website, or our physical InSTALLments in the bathroom. Students will submit their answer by signing into Eagle Link via their FGCU email and password and RSVPing YES to the event. Prevention & Wellness at Florida Gulf Coast University will be using funds from student health fees to award the $10 to the winner’s Eagle account. As a result, faculty and staff are ineligible to participate due to funding limitations. The winner will be chosen on the 1st of the following month between 8am-5pm via wheelofnames.com if they answered the question correctly, unless it falls on a weekend/holiday to which the following business day they will be chosen. All participants will be notified of the winner via their student email in addition to the correct answer. RecVentures does not offer make-up dates for missed classes, so any absence is the participant’s responsibility to coordinate make-up time with Dean’s Dive Center. Must be available November 1-2 AND November 8-9 or will need to schedule make up sessions. The certification cost is $350. We will walk the sidewalks, medians, parks, and green spaces to collect any discarded items and properly dispose of them. Items will be sorted for recycling. Part of our mission, vision, and values is to care for the environment and educate the community on the importance of sustainability. This event is on Saturday, November 1st in Babcock Ranch. The event starts with a safety and strategy talk at 8:00am and debris collection to follow. We meet in the parking lot of the Babcock Ranch Field House near the football field in Babcock Ranch. Items collected will be returned to the meeting area (Babcock Ranch Field House Parking Lot) to be weighed and sorted for recycling.
