Learn how to combine texts, images, and videos with maps using Knight Lab's Story Maps. A user-friendly tool, Story Maps can be utilized to deliver spatially based content for presentations, projects, and personal narratives. In the workshop, we will provide a brief tutorial using materials from University Archives and Special Collections, followed by hands-on practice.

This is our annual toy drive. We are collecting toys for the children at Bonita Springs Elementary School. I was not sure where to put the information, but we do plan on passing out flyers to tell students and employees about how they can participate.

Come join us every Thursday at 1:30 in the Library room 431 for a variety of arts and crafts while we make great connections and get to know one another! Arts and crafts include painting, bracelet making, coloring, and more!

Members will learn and practice how to properly use their public speaking abilities, use their creativity, and be given topics on the spot in order to ensure preparation for MUN events by learning the ins and outs of the events. All are welcome to participate in general body meetings even if you do not plan on attending conferences!

Managing your stress is a difficult challenge in college, and it is even harder to do during exam time. Each student is different and may utilize different activities to help them relax. Coloring is a method of mindfulness and can be used as a relaxation tool during those times. Students will have a chance to color to take a mental break from their tests and assignments as well as participate in other mindful practices that they can take home and use.

Musical Improv is sweeping the nation; come out on November 13th for a beginner-friendly and interactive introduction to the art of incorporating music into your scenes! We will be playing a series of games similar to the format of our workshops / general body meetings...but with music!

Skit Night is the main event of Sigma Chi’s Derby Days philanthropy week. Participating sororities will perform themed skits inspired by popular films as part of a judged competition. The event supports the Huntsman Cancer Foundation and serves as the culmination of the week’s fundraising efforts.
