🌟 Help the Imagine Initiative facilitate the Poverty Simulation at Interfaith Charities 🌟   Join The Imagine Initiative for a powerful Poverty Simulation hosted at Interfaith Charities. This hands-on experience invites participants to facilitate role-play real-life situations faced by individuals and families living in poverty in the U.S. today.   📅Date: Wednesday, November 12th ⏰ Event Time: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM📍 Meeting Location: McTarnaghan Hall Bus Loop🚌 Meeting Time: 4:20 PM | Departure: 4:30 PM | Return: around 9:20 PM   🌍 Sustainable Development Goals: No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Reduced Inequalities, Partnerships for the Goals  🎓 Majors Connected to This Experience: Social Work, Sociology, Public Administration, Public Health, Intergrated Studies... and more!

Pre-departure meetings prepare students to engage in service with purpose, humility, and confidence with Alternative Break. Through interactive workshops and discussions, participants develop a shared understanding of servant leadership and what it means to lead by supporting others. These sessions emphasize teamwork, active listening, and reflection as key elements of meaningful service. Students will learn, engage, and explore within their Alternative Break Cohort. 

Come join CSSEC where we provide free food and insights to the world of Computer Science & Software Engineering!  

Join us at our first meeting of the semester! We'll introduce our officers and discuss plans for upcoming events and activities.  Plus, we'll take you on a brief tour of the universe and its denizens (no FTL required!) Learn about our celestial neighborhood, from sol-bound asteroids, Oort cloud comets and interstellar visitors to Local Group galaxies and supermassive black holes, and the propulsion that it would take to get us there.  This meeting is a great opportunity to meet other space enthusiasts and learn a little more about our universe! Pizza will be provided!

Join the brothers of Sigma Chi for our Derby Days Call-A-Thon, part of Derby Days week benefitting the Huntsman Cancer Foundation! Participants will gather to reach out to friends and family to raise money and awareness for cancer research. A short script and all materials will be provided at the event—just bring your phone and a positive attitude!

Showcasing you! An evening of fine arts, music, theater, and literature! See what the FGCU community has been creating with a showcase of creativity. All are welcome to present their artistic creations, whether it is a reading, screening, performance, or digital display of current artwork. This is a slightly deeper and more advanced Bible study meant to equip us for ministry. Our belief at Thrive is every person is called by God and has a ministry that will impact other people deeply. Many people get somewhere in life, but few do it on purpose or with a sense of God's guidance. The purpose of this table is to have students embrace the aspects about themselves that make them beautiful! They will have the chance to reflect on personal attributes, both physical and non-image related, that make them unique. At this table, students will also have the chance to learn how they can further take steps to improve their body image and appreciate all their body does for them.
