FGCU will be one of 11 teams participating over the two days. The field includes Barry University, Daytona State College, Florida Atlantic University, Florida International University, High Point University, Seminole State College Florida, Stephen F. Austin State University , Stetson University, the University of Cincinnati, the University of South Florida, and the University of the Incarnate Word.

Freshman Jordan Fischer tied for a second-place individual finish to lead the way for the Eagles, who tied for fifth with a team score of three-over par.

FGCU will face 15 other teams, including ASUN rival University of North Florida.

- Eagles tie for eighth at Inverness IntercollegiateTOLEDO, Ohio – The Florida Gulf Coast University women's golf team took part in the Inverness Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday, finishing the event in a tie for eighth place with Notre Dame behind a score of +66 as a team. The tournament was hosted by the University of Toledo at the Inverness Club and featured a field of 65 competitors from a dozen schools.
